Tuition
Tuition is $55 per month for the 1st class and $20 each additional class. Tuition remains the same whether it is a long (5 lesson) month or a short (3 lesson) month and regardless of absences. Tuition is not prorated for Holiday months. Tuition is based on a 10 month season and payments are broken down monthly. TUITION IS DUE THE 1ST OF EVERY MONTH. Tuition may be paid by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. A late fee of $10 will be added to your account on the 7th of the month. If no payment has been made by the 10th of the month, that month’s balance - along with the late fee - will automatically be charged to a credit card which is required at registration. Cash payments are encouraged to be the exact amount as we usually do not have change. Students with delinquent accounts of 30 days or more will be suspended until tuition is received in full. Accounts must be paid in full to participate in the recital or to register for a new dance season. NSF Payments
Footnotes Dance & Music Studio will automatically debit my credit card on file for the amount of any NSF paper check transaction plus a $35 NSF fee. If you are signed up for automatic billing, there is a $35 fee for a declined credit card transaction that will be automatically added to your account. Please keep all cards on file current. Fees
Costumes are $75 each and include one pair of tights and all accessories. Each class will have only one costume for our annual recital held at the end of the season. All costume fees are due on Feb 1st. The costume fees are non-refundable after the costumes have been ordered. There is an $80 Recital Fee for the 1st student and each additional child is $30. The Recital Fee is due April 15th. Referrals
You will receive a $25 credit to your account for referring a new student to the studio. Your credit will appear after they register and pay the first month’s tuition. Absences
There are no refunds or credits given if a student is absent from class. You are able to make-up classes within the same month in another class of the same level. In the event that your usual instructor is absent, another qualified member of our staff will be available to substitute the lesson. If a substitute cannot be provided, either the class will rescheduled as a whole by the instructor or you will receive a per lesson credit towards your next month’s tuition. Termination of Lessons
Two weeks notice is required to discontinue any lessons. Withdrawal must be done in person and will not be accepted over the phone. To withdraw from lessons a parent or adult student must: 1. Inform the front desk or Dance Director
2. Complete and sign a withdrawal form provided by Footnotes Dance & Music Studio
3. You will be considered a student and billed accordingly unless a withdrawal form is completed Holidays
Our lesson schedule does not follow the school calendar. Lessons will not be held on: New Year's Eve

Labor Day
Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day
Spring Break & Winter Break (see studio calendar for dates) Footnotes Dance & Music Studio reserves the right to terminate lessons to any student without notice. In such a case, a refund for unused lessons will be given. Footnotes Dance & Music Studio reserves the right to change policies as needed.
